The new MAK Basic
Shortly before the end of the year, the PerfectSampleGas team can proudly present another innovation and logical addition to the solution portfolio: With the new MAK Basic sample gas cooler, the new product strategy now also finds its way into the field of sample gas conditioning.
As already successfully introduced in the product areas of gas sampling probes as well as sample gas lines, the Basic product line is characterized by offering established and robust solutions at an attractive price-performance ratio. This is made possible for Basic solutions by a reduction in customization options – these are again offered for the Plus or Process ranges.
Compressor cooler for emission measurements
To be able to use the MAK Basic cooler in a wide range of applications, a compressor cooler is used. The compressor cooler in combination with a hot gas bypass system ensures a constant and low output dew point (3°C ± 0.3 at constant conditions) even at high ambient temperatures (up to 50°C). Should the cooler nevertheless be “overrun”, a signal is output via alarm contact.
PVDF heat exchanger in improved JET Stream design
In addition to cooling circuit, the heat exchanger system of the MAK Basic cooler ensures reduced the wash-out effect of water-soluble gases (such as SO2) via the further development of the JET Stream process. The heat exchangers, which are made of PVDF, are resistant to aggressive and corrosive gases and, in addition, the fitting connections supplied at the factory make it possible to connect them without the need for further fitting connections. In addition, the heat exchangers can be replaced without opening the housing if necessary.
