Heated sample lines
Heated sample lines have the important task of transporting the Gas Sample from the Gas Sampling Probe to the sample conditioning system or Analyser. The heating can be operated between frost protection (30 °) and maintaining temperatures of up to 400 ° C, mainly electrical heating cables are used, but steam-heated tube bundles are also part of PSG’s solution portfolio.
The heated sample lines can be divided into two categories with regard to their flexibility and bending radius:
The flexible analysis lines have a bending radius of approx. 6 times the outer diameter and are usually delivered ready-to-use. The lengths vary between 30 cm and 100 meters (even longer cables are possible on request), and temperature control is also required.
The extruded tubing bundles or heated sample lines are characterized by their robust outer jackets. The analysis lines can also be shortened to the required length by using cut-to-length technology. The patented tubing bundles PSG Ex2 and PSG Ex3 offer efficient protection against dangerous electrostatic charge and are supplied with an ATEX certificate for the entire assembly – combined with an extruded jacket unique in the market.
