New Productseries: PSG Duo Gas sampling probe and heated line
New Productseries: PSG Duo Gas sampling probe and heated line
What will be the the future of Probe Sampling? What are the upcoming trends and requirements in Gas Analysis overall and in particular for Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS).
A fundamental trend is continuing and is likely to intensify in the near future: the detection limits of emissions are being reduced worldwide, in some cases to a considerable extent, and thus pose particular challenges both for the manufacturers of analyzers and for the entire sample preparation system. It is questionable whether the current FTIR multicomponent systems, which are often designed as hot extractive systems, will still be able to detect the smaller limit ranges in the future or whether cold extractive systems will be required again for at least certain gas components.
In order to be able to react flexibly to all combinations, the experts at PSG have developed two new product solutions, each of which is summarized under the tag: DUO:
1. PSG Basic Duo Probe
Based on the established technical advantages of PSG probes, a probe has been designed which has two heated sample gas outlets and thus offers the possibility to divide the sample stream to be measured between two heated lines and analyzers.
2. PSG Plus Extruded Duo
In addition to the Duo sampling, however, there are also requirements for the transport of the gas sample: The newly developed PSG Plus Extruded Duo line offers highly flexible sections in lengths of 60 cm, 120 cm or 180 cm, and splitting is possible on the sample and/or analyzer side. This allows a continuous heating e.g. of calibration gas lines or the usage of 2 seperate analyzers.
